My name is Karien Smit, originally born in Borne, a village in the east of the Netherlands. I am now living in beautiful Zwolle, where I am studying Psychomotricity for my third year.
I am 19 years old and full of energy! I love traveling and having people around. Currently I am a bit stressed about leaving the Netherlands but on the other side I am so excited and can't wait to have a 'Peruvian life' as a Dutchie! 
I think it's very interesting how we can introduce and use our knowledge at the YMCA in Lima. I hope we will have a great time with the kids over there and can see how beautifull the city and country is!
